Abstract

The invention relates to a device by means of which a self-adhesive label can be applied to a CD-ROM disk in a centred manner. Said device comprises a centering element (1) which has a contact surface (3) and an extension (4) pointing downwards, the maximum external dimension of which corresponds to the internal dimension of the through hole. In the area directly above the contact surface (3) the centering element (1) has a cross-section, the maximum dimension of which is the same or slightly smaller than that of the inner hole (10) of the adhesive label (8). In addition, the centering element (1) tapers towards the top. The pressing means (2) has an inner opening (5) by means of which it can be vertically displaced on the centering element (1) and a parallel pressing surface (6) extending closely around the centering element (1) so that pressure can be applied to the inner area of a surface adjacent to the inner hole (10) of an adhesive label (8).
