Abstract

Apparatus for directing and steering of the foremost part of a drillstring by earth drillings, formed by a connecting part formed by a lower housing part and an upper housing part, provided with a central opening for the passing of the drilling fluid and a drive shaft of the motor of the bit, or motor rotor, while one housing part is provided with an inserting part that is intended to be inserted in the other housing part, and of which the outer circumference is smaller than the inner circumference of the other housing part that is intended to receive the inserting part, while the housing parts are provided with means by which they can be detachably connected to each other.
