Abstract

Cette invention concerne essentiellement un aéronef combiné qui comprend un corps aérostatique, convexe, imperméable aux gaz et en forme de disque, à l'intérieur duquel se trouve le tore creux et rigide d'une installation propulsive. Le tore est connecté par des éléments radiaux à l'enveloppe qui entoure le soufflet du mécanisme permettant de modifier le volume du corps. La cavité du corps est divisée par une membrane inclinée en une section qui renferme des ballons contenant un gaz plus léger que l'air, ainsi qu'en une section de ballastage thermique. L'installation propulsive est équipée d'une roue de Segner assurant la rotation du corps et d'un rotor porteur. Ce rotor se compose de pales horizontales qui sont connectées au tore et qui possèdent des ailettes verticales à leurs extrémités libres. Le tore rigide est connecté par l'intermédiaire d'éléments rigides, longitudinaux et de longueur réglable à un support. Ce dernier possède un palier de support dont l'un des corps est fixé à une nacelle. La nacelle comprend une hélice de commande, un châssis, ainsi que des moteurs de propulsion, lesquels sont connectés par des tuyères directionnelles, souples et rotatives et par l'intermédiaire d'un collecteur télescopique à la roue de Segner.
