Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé d'analyse de la courbure de la cornée faisant usage d'un disque de Placido quadrillé. Ledit procédé consiste à projeter l'image du disque de Placido quadrillé sur la cornée d'un patient, à repérer l'image du disque de Placido quadrillé reflétée par la cornée, à repérer une pluralité de points nodaux à partir de l'image reflétée, à établir la courbure moyenne en une pluralité de points nodaux et à analyser cette courbure moyenne au niveau d'une pluralité de points nodaux de manière à produire un affichage graphique de la courbure réelle estimée de la cornée.
