Abstract

The dewatering flume is used in the construction of a network to drain off sewage to the interceptor. The flume consists of three flat elements and makes the rectangular shape of the flow. Thanks to flexible connection of the lateral elements (1) with the element of the bottom (2) the flume is resistant to movements of the ground. The flume consists of two idenctical flat lateral elements (1) and the elements of the bottom (2). They are connected by putting the tongues (3) of the lateral elements (1) into the grooves (4) of the element of the bottom. In order to close the flow we use the lid (5) with the edge (6) and profiling (7). And to connect a flume with the adjacent one we use the interconnector (8) with the edge (9) and profiling (10). In the lateral elements (1) there are incisions (11) to put in plates (12), to which a grate is attached. In the element of the bottom (2) there is a hole (14) to connect it with the interceptor pipe.

Description

Figure imgf000003_0001
the element of the bottom get strain from the ground. That is why its deformation does not affect the lateral elements. It is so thanks to flexibility of the dovetail joint. The solution according to the essence of the applied pattern simplifies the construction of a flume network and lengthens the time of exploitation eliminating failures . The length of flumes and the sizes of elements of flumes may be different. Besides, there is a possibility of connecting flumes of different height, set horizontally and with fall, using gravitational outflow.
You can see the subject of the applied pattern on the enclosed sketch, which .presents two adjacent flumes being connected by means of the interconnector in the prospective projection.
The flume consists of two identical flat lateral elements /1 / and the element of the bottom /2/, connecting by putting the tongues /3/ of the lateral elements into the tenons /4/ - two grooves of the element of the bottom /2/. To close the flow we use the lid /3/ with the edge /6/ and profiling /7/. To connect adjacent flumes making a network we use the interconnector /8/ with the edge /9/ and profiling /10/. In the lateral elements /1 / there are incisions /11 / to put in the plate /12/ to which the grate /13/ is attached. In the element of the bottom /2/ there is a hole /14/ in order to connect it with the interceptor pipe.

Claims

The dewatering flume, used in the construction of a network to drain off sewage" to the interceptorj is characterized by the fact that it is built in the shape of the letter "U". It consists of two lateral elements /1 / with tongues /3/ and incisions /11/ to put in the plates /12/, to which the grate /1 / is attached, and the element of the bottom /2/ with two grooves playing the role of the tenons /4/ and the hole /14/ to connect it with the interceptor pipe. The flume is equipped with the lid /5/ with the edge /6/ and profiling HI and the interconnector /8/ with the edge /9/ and profiling /10/.
