Abstract

La présente invention concerne des compositions aqueuses secondaires d'enrobage, conçues pour enrober un toron de fibres calibré; lesdites compositions comprennent un polymère contenant de l'uréthanne et un mélange de polymère vinylique halogéné et de polymère élastomère. Un autre aspect de la présente invention consiste en une structure de forme générale tubulaire, munie d'une armature enrobée d'une couche primaire de composition de calibrage, qui inclut un lubrifiant de fibres permettant d'obtenir une structure ayant une résistance électrique supérieure à 750 mégohms pour 152 +/- 13 millimètres de longueur de la structure, et une deuxième couche comprenant un polymère vinylique halogéné et un polymère contenant de l'uréthanne. Un troisième aspect de cette invention consiste en un toron de fibres, fait avec un matériau thermoplastique ou thermodurcissable qui possède une première couche comprenant un polymère vinylique halogéné et un polymère contenant de l'uréthanne. La présente invention se rapporte également à des torons enrobés avec les enrobages décrits ci-dessus et à des matériaux et structures polymères composites renforcés au moyen desdits enrobages.
