Abstract

L'invention concerne une âme en nid d'abeille (2) liée à un revêtement extérieur (10) plan par formation d'une nappe (24) d'adhésif sur une surface du revêtement extérieur et placement de l'âme en nid d'abeille (2) à l'intérieur de la nappe (24) d'adhésif. Dans la structure en résultant, une couche continue d'adhésif de profondeur sensiblement uniforme se forme à l'intérieur des alvéoles (8) de l'âme en nid d'abeille (2). On peut choisir la profondeur de la couche d'adhésif et la taille des alvéoles de sorte que l'adhésif produise un effet de lentille lorsque la lumière passe à travers. Les structures peuvent s'utiliser dans la transmission/ le retardement de la lumière, de la chaleur ou du son. Notamment, on peut doter une structure transparente d'une régularité optique entre les alvéoles de l'âme en nid d'abeille. On peut utiliser cette technique pour fabriquer de larges panneaux de verre, l'âme en nid d'abeille augmentant la résistance des panneaux, ce qui permet de fabriquer des panneaux plus larges qu'il n'était possible antérieurement et de les utiliser pour de nouvelles applications.
