Abstract

L'invention concerne un assemblage de deux pièces métalliques, obtenu par placage d'une première pièce contre la zone d'assemblage d'une pièce de base et par application sur la première pièce d'un élément de friction qui se déplace par rapport aux deux pièces dans le sens de la zone d'assemblage. L'élément de friction pénètre à travers la première pièce en produisant une masse fondue et refoule cette masse fondue au niveau de la zone d'assemblage après quoi, l'élément de friction est retiré de la liaison. Les deux pièces sont ainsi assemblées au niveau de la zone d'assemblage par une soudure par friction.
