Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pajamas for preventing snoring and a back pocket for producing such pajamas
  • Snoring is a widespread and well-known problem that affects not only the person who snores, but much more the people in the immediate vicinity of the person who snores, especially life partners who sleep in the same bedroom. Accordingly, there are a variety of so-called home remedies that are intended to prevent snoring, but most of these remedies do not offer lasting success. The most common cause of snoring is to be found in the sleeping position. People who tend to snore start snoring when they are lying on their backs while sleeping.
  • the invention is based on this knowledge and therefore the task is to create a pajamas which effectively and permanently prevents the snoring of people who habitually sleep on their backs. It also sets itself the task of specifying a back pocket for the manufacture of such pajamas.
  • a pajamas for preventing snoring which is distinguished by the fact that it has a back pocket which is attached in the middle of the back part of the pajamas and in which an object can be inserted and locked.
  • the object is further achieved by a back pocket for the manufacture of a pajamas for preventing snoring, which is distinguished by the fact that it forms a container for the immovable reception of an object, and furthermore a closable opening for securely enclosing the object and means for fastening it to the Has back of a pajamas.
  • the sleeper wears such a pajamas or an ordinary pajamas that is equipped with such a back pocket and then an object, for example a tennis ball, is enclosed in this back pocket, this measure effectively prevents the sleeper from lying on his back can turn and lie supine. He sleeps continuously in the side or stomach position, in which the snoring does not occur.
  • a pajamas equipped in this way is therefore suitable for all those people who are used to sleeping on their backs and who often or constantly snore.

  • Figure 2 a) a section through a single-walled back pocket; b) a section through a double-walled back pocket;
  • the invention is based on the principle that in the area of the back of a pajamas or a piece of clothing worn while sleeping there is an object that disturbs the sleeper as soon as he wants to turn on his back or at the latest as soon as he lies on his back.
  • This causes the sleeper to always lie on their side or prone position, in which they continue to sleep without snoring.
  • the sleeper turns, and again the If he wants to take the supine position, he is disturbed by the obstacle on the back, namely the object in the back pocket. Automatically, without waking up, he then assumes a different sleeping position. Based on the practical experience of test subjects, it can be said that after just a few weeks, the newly raised side sleeping positions become a habit, so that the supine position is avoided even without the disturbing object in the back pocket.
  • the pajamas has a back pocket, which is attached in the middle of the back of the pajamas and in which an object can be inserted and locked.

  • a zipper can be sewn through which the object can be inserted into the back pocket, after which this object is held immovably in the pocket by closing the zipper
  • the back pocket can, however, also be sewn along its superimposed edges on the outside of the back part, so that a slot is then made in the fabric part of the back pocket, which faces away from the back part, into which a zipper is sewn.
  • a Velcro can replace the zipper.
  • the back pocket can also be laminated on the outside or inside of the back part from two superimposed fabric parts along their superimposed edges, in which case the back pocket formed in this way can in turn be opened via a slot which can be closed by means of a Velcro fastener or a zip fastener.

  • the shape of the back pocket 3 is not important. It can be round, oval, square, rectangular or even irregular.

  • the tennis ball is enclosed in the container and held in it sufficiently so that it cannot move too far from a certain point of support on the back when the garment is worn. If possible, he should lie in the middle of the back in order to effectively disturb the sleeper as soon as he tries to turn on his back.
  • the article 5 can be easily removed from the container or the back pocket, for example to wash the garment, and if necessary, it is simply put back into the back pocket and the latter is closed again.
  • the back pocket 3 can be single or double-walled. These two different embodiments are shown in FIGS. 2a) and 2b). For the single-walled back pocket 3, this means that it forms the container 8 only together with the back part 2 of the garment 1. If the back pocket 3 is detachably fastened to the garment 1, for example by means of a zipper or a Velcro fastener, there is no opening in the front 6 of the back pocket 3 for the insertion of the article 5 necessary. The article 5 can be placed in the back pocket 3 before the zipper 4 or Velcro 4 is completely closed.
  • the back 9 of the back pocket 3 can be fastened on the garment 1 and forms with the front 6 the container 8 for receiving an object 5.
  • the front 6 again has a front Opening for introducing the object 5 into the back pocket 3, which can be closed by means of a zipper 7, a Velcro fastener or with buttons.
  • the object 5, which is here, for example, a tennis ball, can just as well be a fabric ball, a fabric or a similar object which is about the size of a tennis ball and which is shaped or made from such a material that it does not cause any injuries can when the sleeper turns on his back.
  • the back pocket 3 should not be perceived by the wearer of the garment 1 as annoying as long as it is not lying on its back, but it should only perceive the object 5, which is accommodated in the back pocket 3, as soon as it lies on its back on this.
