Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and devices for cosmetic, hygienic and medical applications, and more precisely to combined methods and devices for the care of the hair and the skin. The method includes a hair removal session and comprises applying a bio-stimulating controlled action at predetermined sections on the surface of the skin. This action is customised according to the health of a patient and according to the state of his skin and of his hair. This action may be used in the prevention and/or cure of various conditions as well as in the prevention and treatment of possible sequelae resulting from dermal sores, said action being preferably applied during the hair removal session. The device of the present invention comprises a control and manipulation hand unit (1) used during the hair removal session and which is connected to an instrumental unit (2) for said session. The instrumental unit (2) connects the instruments (3) for removing hair to other instruments (4) also used during said session. This device also comprises a biological stimulator (5) as well as a formatter (6) of the controlled factors of the bio-stimulating action. The formatter (6) is linked to the hand unit (1) and connected through it to active members (7) which transmit the bio-stimulating action to the skin and are located in said instrumental unit (2).
