Abstract
Hydroxamic acid derivatives represented by general formula (1) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof which are excellent in the inhibitory activity on matrix metaproteinase and useful as a preventive and remedy for metastatic infiltration or multiplication of various cancer cells, arthrosis deformans, etc., wherein R1 represents C¿1-4? alkyl, etc.; R?2 and R3¿ independently represent each optionally substituted C¿1-4? alkyl, etc.; R?4¿ represents C¿8-10? alkyl; R?5¿ represents hydrogen, etc.; and R6 represents hydrogen, etc..
