Abstract

La présente invention concerne un non-tissé composite à retenue et répartition contrôlée des liquides, composé d'une première couche support et d'une première couche gonflante qui retient et répartit le liquide, la couche support faisant office de papier de couverture, ou de couche de transfert entre la couche gonflante et une couche de rétention de liquides. La couche support est liée, selon un procédé non chimique, à la couche gonflante par un réseau de points de liaison distincts qui constituent un système de contrôle de liquides facilitant la répartition des liquides dans chacune des couches ainsi que le transfert de liquides entre couches. Ce non-tissé composite est caractérisé par une faible durée de traversée de colle pour un effet réduit de remouillage. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication consistant à former une première couche support, par exemple par cardage ou par liage à la filature, à consolider la première couche support, consistant à former au moins une première couche gonflante contenant des fibres cardées disposées au-dessus de la première couche support, et, consistant à lier par un procédé de liage non chimique tel que le thermoliage l'ensemble couche support + couche gonflante. Pendant ce processus, la traction est réduite au moins pendant la formation de la première couche gonflante, d'une part grâce à un caisson aspirant de déposition assurant une aspiration au moins au point de formation de la couche gonflante, et d'autre part grâce à un caisson aspirant de fixation assurant une aspiration après formation de la couche gonflante et ce, jusqu'au point où s'effectue le liage entre couches, ces caissons aspirants (de déposition et fixation) étant disposés en dessous d'une bande transporteuse perméable à l'air.
