Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine des aérostats à air chaud, notamment à celui des montgolfières, et permet de rendre les vols plus économiques et plus sûrs. Le générateur thermique comprend un ventilateur (9), une turbine (7), une chambre de combustion (6) comportant des injecteurs (1) qui sont reliés à un bonbonne (5) contenant un gaz carburant, des échangeurs thermiques de type gaz-air (13) et gaz-carburant (1), un compresseur (7), un tuyau d'échappement rotatif (11) ainsi qu'un mélangeur (12). La turbine (7), le compresseur (8) et le ventilateur (9) sont en connexion mécanique les uns avec les autres. Le mélangeur (12) est situé sous le goulot inférieur de l'enveloppe de la montgolfière, et envoie le mélange se composant de l'air fourni par le ventilateur (9) et des produits de combustion, dans l'enveloppe de la montgolfière.
