Abstract

The invention concerns a hair-retaining device (2) which comprises a frame-like comb (1) and an inner comb (3) which can be displaced therein in such a way that hair can be removably clamped between the teeth of the frame-like comb (18) and the teeth of the inner comb (22). The frame-like comb (1) has a rear portion (5) with a slot (7) which extends in the longitudinal direction thereof and through which the inner comb (3) can be replaced.
