Abstract

Appareil destiné à la cuisson, notamment à la friture, d'une pluralité de denrées alimentaires et possédant une cuve (2) prévue pour contenir un liquide chaud dans lequel les aliments sont mis à cuire. Un élément support rotatif (16) occupe une partie de la cuve (2), s'étend au-dessus de celle-ci et comporte un nombre d'éléments de retenue (18), chacun étant disposé de façon à retenir une denrée alimentaire. Les éléments de retenue (18) sont montés sur l'élément rotatif (16), formant des intervalles espacés de façon angulaire, cet élément rotatif étant actionné par un dispositif approprié (24, 26, 30) de façon à immerger chaque élément de retenue (18) dans le liquide pendant une période suffisante pour cuire les denrées alimentaires, et ensuite à sortir l'élément de retenue du liquide. Certains de ces éléments de retenue sont positionnés au-dessus du liquide alors que d'autres sont immergés, lorsque l'élément rotatif (16) est placé au moins dans une position angulaire, de sorte que les denrées alimentaires devant être cuites puissent être placées sur des dispositifs de retenue et/ou que des denrées déjà cuites puissent être retirées tandis que d'autres sont en train de cuire.
