It is known to melt paraffin in a melting pot at a temperature of 70 - 90°C (depending on the melting point of the paraffin used and on the process used by the manufacturer) .

Abstract

Pour obtenir de la paraffine ou de la stéarine colorée sous forme de poudre (sable de bougie), on doit colorer cette paraffine ou cette stéarine. Cette opération de coloration a été jusqu'à présent effectuée pendant la production du sable de bougie. Ce procédé a pour inconvénient que la machine utilisée pour cette opération doit être nettoyée chaque fois qu'une nouvelle couleur est utilisée. Cette invention propose un procédé pour colorer le sable de bougie sous forme de poudre dans un processus à froid.
