Abstract
L'invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions qui permettent de contrôler le niveau des métabolites toxiques dans les produits d'origine végétale, pendant et/ou après la récolte et/ou le traitement. Ces moyens permettent de réduire les risques sanitaires liés à l'utilisation de produits de consommation tels que le tabac, les céréales utilisées pour l'alimentation, les produits traités à base de céréales comme le sirop de maïs, ou bien encore les agrumes, les tubercules, les fruits et légumes, les fleurs, les légumes à feuilles et à tiges ou les fleurs coupées, et aussi d'améliorer les procédures de contrôle des animaux en laboratoire, en vérifiant le niveau des mycotoxines associées aux substances qui s'établissent dans les microorganismes producteurs de toxines. Les compositions qui permettent de contrôler les micromycètes producteurs de mycotoxines comprennent l'aldéhyde cinnamique, l'aldéhyde conférylique ou leurs dérivés, selon la formule (I). Dans ladite formule, R1 est -CHO, R2 est -OH ou un substituant organique comportant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, R3 est -OCH3 ou un substituant organique comportant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, et R4 est -H ou un substituant organique comportant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone.
