Abstract

Un système de poursuite par triangulation optique comporte des moyens de création d'au moins deux faisceaux lumineux (14, 15), tous deux divergents, montés l'un par rapport à l'autre dans une relation spatiale et angulaire telle que les faisceaux se coupent de manière à éclairer un volume spatial (16); au moins un réflecteur (3) relativement mobile à l'intérieur dudit volume spatial; un détecteur (20) de lumière conçu pour recevoir la lumière des deux faisceaux renvoyée sur sa trajectoire de transmission par le réflecteur et un système (24, 25) de traitement d'images relié à chacun desdits détecteurs, le montage étant tel que les mouvements relatifs entre les moyens susdits de création de faisceaux et le réflecteur soient contrôlés par le système de traitement d'images qui détermine par triangulation à partir des images reçues les coordonnées spatiales du réflecteur, et ainsi, sa position relative à l'intérieur dudit volume spatial.
