Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une greffe vasculaire possédant une doublure en carbone, qui consiste à co-extruder un composé de carbone polymère et un composé polymère à travers un ensemble mandrin et filière, de façon à obtenir une greffe vasculaire dont la surface intérieure ou extérieure comporte du carbone en tant que constituant faisant partie intégrante de l'ensemble. L'invention concerne également la greffe fabriquée au moyen de ce procédé. On utilise un dispositif de préformage compartimenté composé de deux cylindres concentriques creux, afin d'obtenir une ébauche d'extrusion constituée de deux composés. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, on peut utiliser le composé de carbone polymère pour remplir les deux cylindres du dispositif de préformage compartimenté, de manière à obtenir une ébauche à un seul composé, qui est extrudée pour former une greffe polymère contenant du carbone et dont la paroi présente une répartition uniforme de matériau polymère au carbone. On peut également utiliser un dispositif de préformage faisant partie de l'invention, pourvu de séparations multiples, ce qui permet d'obtenir une ébauche possédant des couches multiples dont une contient un élément de carbone. On peut incorporer dans les greffes vasculaires une substance bioactive à libération dans le temps.
