Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une poutre en bois (31, 35, 42) conçue pour construire des maisons en bois ou des structures analogues en bois. Ce procédé consiste à pratiquer dans une ébauche de poutre (2, 2a) plusieurs gorges parallèles, étroites, allongées et profondes (4, 4a) s'étendant sur la longueur de l'ébauche, puis à sécher l'ébauche et à la traiter, afin d'obtenir sa forme finale de poutre.
