Abstract

The invention concerns a plate-type heat exchanger comprising a stack of plates of the same shape, preferably made of stainless steel, each of which is turned through 180° in its own plane with respect to the adjacent plates and whose heat-exchange surfaces are structured. This heat exchanger is characterized in that the plates have perforations at certain points where the surface structures of two plates touch. In addition, the flat areas round two of the symmetrically disposed fluid-flow orifices have, on both sides of the plate, raised embossing as high as the surface structures.
