Abstract

Nouvelles lentilles intraoculaires et nouveaux procédés d'élaboration de ces lentilles. Selon un mode de réalisation, la lentille intraoculaire (10) comporte une optique (11) et au moins un élément de fixation, par exemple un élément haptique (12, 14), fixé à l'optique et s'étendant à partir de celle-ci. L'élément de fixation est élaboré à partir d'un élément ayant subi une rotation et se composant d'un polymère. L'élément ayant subi cette rotation est obtenu en plaçant une pièce ayant l'épaisseur et la même composition entre deux surfaces de telle sorte que chacune de ces surfaces soit à son contact, étant séparées l'une de l'autre par l'épaisseur de la pièce, et en exerçant un mouvement de rotation sur une partie au moins de l'une de ces surfaces selon un axe essentiellement parallèle à l'épaisseur de la pièce, la lentille intraoculaire présentant ainsi une meilleure résistance à la traction par rapport à une lentille sensiblement identique élaborée à partir de la pièce d'origine. L'invention porte également sur les procédés d'élaboration de lentilles intraoculaires.
