Abstract

Un véhicule équipé d'un système embarqué (IVHS) utilise un moyen de communication (46) pour déterminer et charger les coordonnées géodésiques de son lieu de destination dans le processeur de données de l'unité embarquée (18). L'opérateur compose simplement le numéro de téléphone de sa destination sur le clavier (28) du véhicule et le système transmet le numéro de téléphone à un dispositif de traitement central (14) et à la base de données (16), le numéro de téléphone étant transformé en coordonnées géodésiques qui sont retransmises au système embarqué.
