Abstract

Une échasse améliorée (10, 80) comporte un assemblage (12, 38, 39, 40) s'adaptant sur le pied qui augmente la stabilité de l'utilisateur sur l'échasse. L'assemblage comprend une butée de talon (40), faite d'un matériau élastique, et une lanière de cheville (38) qui est souple de sorte que lorsqu'une force importante est appliquée sur la lanière (40), l'utilisateur peut libérer son pied en réduisant au minimum les risques de blessure. La lanière de cheville (38) souple peut pivoter vers l'arrière afin de faciliter le retrait du pied du support. L'échasse peut être formée de deux parties séparées, supérieure et inférieure (82, 84), qui peuvent être réunies pour former une seule échasse (80), la partie inférieure (84) supportant le support (102) du pied. Diverses et différentes parties inférieures (84) peuvent être raccordées à la partie supérieure (82) afin de s'adapter à des exigences particulières. Les échasses (10, 20) possèdent une genouillère (29) pivotante qui se règle en hauteur par rapport à l'élément supérieur (14, 82) afin que l'utilisateur puisse sélectionner différentes hauteurs.
