Abstract

Le couvercle protecteur (6) du cylindre (1) d'un frein à disque comprend un soufflet annulaire (7), un bourrelet de fixation (8) situé à une première extrémité du soufflet (7) et qui pénètre dans une rainure annulaire (9) ménagée dans le piston (3) du cylindre (1) du frein et une insertion de renforcement sous forme d'un anneau (11, 16, 40, 43) entouré au moins en partie par le matériau du soufflet (7). L'insertion de renforcement sollicite la deuxième extrémité du soufflet (7) contre la paroi intérieure (12, 37, 46, 47) d'un évidement annulaire (5, 38, 48) ménagé dans la face frontale (4) du cylindre (1) du frein. La deuxième extrémité (10) du soufflet (7) forme une poche annulaire ouverte d'un seul côté dans laquelle l'anneau (11, 16, 40, 43) est inséré. L'anneau (11, 16, 40, 43) présente, à l'extérieur de la poche, des perforations (14, 17, 18, 42, 49, 50) dans lesquelles pénètre le matériau du soufflet (7).
