Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à des procédés et à un appareil déterminant la présence d'un ou plusieurs analytes dans un échantillon. L'on détecte la présence d'un complexe d'un analyte et d'une fraction de liaison spécifique à l'analyte en un point du gradient étendu du pH correspondant à un point isoélectrique prédéterminé du complexe dans le gradient. Un champ électrique appliqué au gradient étendu du pH avant la détection du complexe transporte le complexe vers le point du gradient du pH correspondant au point isoélectrique prédéterminé. La fraction de liaison spécifique à l'analyte est de préférence pourvue d'un marqueur détectable, tel qu'un marqueur fluorescent. L'on peut déterminer un paramètre, par ex., une intensité de fluorescence, indiquant la quantité du complexe en un point du gradient du pH correspondant au point isoélectrique prédéterminé afin de quantifier un analyte.
