Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour blanchir la pâte de cellulose et en particulier de nouveaux types de procédés de blanchiment plus acceptables pour l'environnement, qui sont destiné à l'industrie de transformation du bois. Dans ces procédés, les produits chimiques à base de chlore sont remplacés par d'autres produits chimiques de blanchiment moins nocifs pour l'environnement. Un trait caractéristique de l'invention est que le blanchiment comporte au moins deux étapes de traitement par un peroxyde entre lesquelles les fibres sont soumises à un traitement d'activation, par exemple une acidification ou une extraction alcaline à chaud.
