Abstract
Le procédé de traitement d'articles en métal de l'invention consite à diviser la zone de travail du champ magnétique à induction en trois parties successives destinées, respectivement, à la thermodiffusion, au refroidissement et à la stabilisation pour procéder au durcissement, ainsi que le déplacement linéaire de chaque article dans la zone de travail, afin d'exposer la totalité de sa surface aux lignes d'influence uniforme de force du champ magétique. Une installation de mise en ÷uvre du procédé comprend un dispositif de chauffage (4) à induction à boucles multiples comportant un inducteur (6) destiné à chauffer les articles (12), un refroidisseur à convection (8) ainsi qu'un dispositif (9) de stabilisation avant durcissement. Avant l'inducteur de chauffage (6) est monté un poussoir (15) assurant le mouvement linéaire des articles dans la zone de traitement, et lequel est synchronisé avec le mécanisme d'actionnement de l'entraînement de l'installation.
