Abstract

L'invention décrit un fourneau (5a, 5b), utilisé en particulier, mais pas exclusivement, pour traiter à chaud des produits en argile tels que des tuyaux (85a, 85b) ou des briques. Les fourneaux de la technique antérieure présentent un certain nombre de problèmes. La longueur du fourneau, par exemple, rend ce dernier peu pratique pour des tuyaux de grand diamètre, et limite son utilisation au traitement thermique de tuyaux d'un certain diamètre uniquement; l'échange de chaleur n'est pas convenablement effectuée entre les zones inférieures et supérieures. L'invention décrit ainsi un fourneau (5a, 5b) permettant de traiter à chaud des tuyaux (85a, 85b), et comprenant une zone de séchage/de préchauffage (10a, 10b), une zone de cuisson (25a, 25b) et une zone de refroidissement (40a, 40b), ainsi qu'un convoyeur transportant un ou plusieurs dispositifs de support (90a, 95a, 80b, 95b), chacun desquels soutenant un ou plusieurs tuyaux (85a, 85b), à travers au moins une de ces zones. Lors de l'utilisation du fourneau, chaque tuyau (85a, 85b) est soutenu par le dispositif de support respectif (80a, 95a, 80b, 95b) de manière sensiblement perpendiculaire par rapport au sens du déplacement, chaque dispositif de support (80a, 95a, 80b, 95b) comprenant en outre des éléments (100a, 100b) permettant de faire tourner chaque tuyau (85a, 85b) qui y est soutenu dans le sens longitudinal du tuyau respectif.
