Abstract

Le matériau de l'invention est caractérisé par les groupes suivants reliés à une matière lignocellulosique initiale par des liaisons -O-, au niveau des points d'emplacement de groupes hydroxyle des formules (I) et (II) dans lesquelles R, R1 représentent un alkyle inférieur contenant 1 à 9 atomes de carbone, ou R1 représente halogène ou alkyle inférieur C¿1-9? à substitution phényle, alcényle inférieur C1-9, alcényle inférieur C1-5 à substitution phényle, dont la teneur est égale à 21,0 à 58,4 % en poids. Le procédé consiste en l'acylation d'un matériau lignocellulosique au moyen d'un mélange d'acylanhydrate et d'acide carbonique ou de deux acylanhydrates dans un milieu constitué d'un solvant organique à température élevée. La composition comprend un liant constitué d'une matière lignocellulosique modifiée, ainsi qu'une matière de charge d'origine végétale ou minérale dans le rapport 10-90:90-10.
