- rootlets or radicles When rootlets or radicles are in contact with the water insoluble textile fabric described above, these rootlets or radicles become dormant. New roots are thus produced, strengthening the base of the plants, while the formation of helical roots is avoided.

Abstract
Tissu de textile contenant un sel de cuivre insoluble, utilisé pour contrôler la croissance des racines d'une plante. Le tissu comprend un liant polymère insoluble dans l'eau, tel qu'un latex, et un produit de cuivre insoluble dans l'eau, de préférence du carbonate de cuivre. Le produit de cuivre est introduit sous forme de dispersion dans le liant qui retient et confine le produit de cuivre dans le tissu de textile. Le tissu peut être utilisé pour interrompre la croissance de petites racines ou de radicelles indésirables qui entrent en contact avec lui.
