Abstract

Le dispositif comprend un câble chauffant (1) connecté à une source d'alimentation et doté d'un fil isolé (2) contenu dans une enveloppe (4) en matière polymère sur laquelle est enroulé en spirale et en deux couches (6, 7) un blindage (5) en fils métalliques (8) renfermé dans une enveloppe externe (9) en matière polymère. Le rapport de résistance électrique entre le fil (2) et le blindage (5) est compris entre 1:2 et 1:4. Au niveau de la section d'extrémité du cable (1), le fil (2) est court-circuité avec le blindage. Ledit blindage se compose d'un nombre de fils (8) tel que, au niveau de cette section d'extrémité, sa résistance électrique est quatre fois supérieure à celle du fil (2).
