Abstract

Support for fitting a generally mock cylinder-shaped elastic protective sheath, such as a condom, on an organ of the human body, in particular, on the male organ. The support consists of a rigid tubular element (1) for receiving said layer and is characterized by having: on an initial transverse end of said tubular element, a peripheral bulge (2) for receiving the condom, with its side wall wound over on itself, thereby forming a circular bottom occupying the transverse face of said initial end of the tubular element, the edges formed by the cylindrical wall wound over on itself forming a toroid elastically resting on the outer face of the tubular element to the rear of said bulge; and on a second end opposite the first, the support comprises a prehensile organ (3) for holding said support with one hand in order to engage it by the said initial, transverse end on the receiving member with said sheath, by causing the side wall of the sheath and, in particular, of the condom, to unwind. Said sheath gradually positions itself as the support advances and the condom unwinds completely on said receiving member, causing the condom side wall to be released in relation to its support and enabling the support to be withdrawn by a reverse movement.

Description

Device for applying a protective coating to a part of the human body.

The present invention relates to a support making it possible to facilitate the fitting of a protective coating on a part of the human body and more especially of a male condom or condom on the male member in particular in an erect state prior to sexual intercourse. .

_We know that the use of a condom is very old since the ancients already used a sheep or pork caecum for this purpose. But it was in the 17th century that the use of the latex condom appeared, which has spread considerably since then and has become popular.

A first interest in the installation of the male condom was a concern for contraception; in parallel with the development of venereal diseases and more generally of sexually transmitted diseases, the condom responded to a search for hygiene and prophylaxis. With the recent development of AIDS, the public authorities have been led to set up an active policy of prescription and recommendation, in particular with young people ill-initiated to these problems for psychological and social reasons in order to fight in particular against the spread of the sickness. The sexual freedom which developed in parallel and which is a factor of propagation of the evil following frequent exchanges of partners makes indeed even more necessary the systematic use in particular during occasional relationship the installation of the male condom in latex of the disposable type and now well known. We do know, however, that putting the condom on, if it does not present any special difficulty, requires a minimum of time, attention and manipulation, mobilizing the use of both hands.

This moment of setting up and preliminary technical preparation, in a psychological romantic relationship undoubtedly creates a rupture which can be generating discomfort, sometimes a blockage, especially in young partners, for whom this rupture of a moment dreamlike can break a spell. US Patent 4,875,491 describes in excellent, delicate and true terms the psychological problems which are linked to the installation of the condom; there is already mentioned the manipulation that requires the opening of the bag, its removal and its implementation by unwinding the condom, stored folded, along the male member and this interruption in the preliminary games of love both on the plan physical as on the psychological level can cause this rupture in the rise of desire which characterizes the sexual relation and underlies it.

Attempts have been made in the past to remedy the drawbacks which are described here by proposing devices to aid in the placement of the condom so as to limit the interruption phase which it represents. French patent application 74 07602 provides for the introduction of detachable oblong elements on either side of the membrane, which allows the condom to be unrolled once it is positioned, but does not significantly facilitate its setting. in place.

French patent application 87 15181 describes a special condom associated with a bracelet capable of being moored to the purses by a strap, which allows the preservation of the condom but does not appreciably facilitate its installation.

The American patent 4,875,491 cited above proposes, in an embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7, to mount the condom on a support itself made of two half-rings assembled and connected by a strap to a belt; this complex whole if it can possibly help in putting the condom in place, however, represents a heavy structure since the male partner is supposed beforehand to have put in place a real harness represented by a belt and the straps which connect it to the condom and to its support.

The invention aims to remedy these drawbacks and according to a first object provides a support which allows the instantaneous implementation and with one hand of a condom or male condom on the male member in particular in an erect state, the support being able to be withdrawn in the same movement and without consequently that the operation represents a distraction for one as for the other partner as well on the physical plan as on the psychological plan.

To this end, the invention relates to a support for the establishment of an elastic protective coating and in the general form of a blind cylinder, such as a condom, on a member of the human body, in particular on the male member and the support consists of a rigid tubular element intended to receive said coating and it is characterized in that it comprises:

- On a first transverse end of this tubular element, a peripheral bulge intended to receive the condom, in the state of its wall wound on itself, and then conforming to a circular bottom occupying the transverse face of this first end of the tubular element and whose edges formed by the cylindrical wall wound on itself conforms to a torus resting elastically on the outside face of the tubular element behind said bulge;

- And on a second end opposite to the first, the support comprises a gripping member making it possible to hold said support with one hand in order to engage it by said first transverse end on the receiving member with said coating, causing the unwinding of the wall of the coating, in particular of the condom coming to be applied as the support advances and the unwinding of the wall of the condom on said receiving member until the end of the unwinding, then allowing the release of the wall of the condom relative to its support and the withdrawal of said support by a reverse movement from the previous one. Preferably, the end bead of said first end extends respectively and also towards the external wall and towards the internal bore of the tubular element.

And in particular the bead conforms to a wall of rounded section extending the outer wall of the tubular element to join the internal bore of this element.

According to a particular embodiment, said bead forms a torus with a diameter equal to substantially 1.5 to 2 times the thickness of the wall tubular support and the toric section is arranged symmetrically with respect to the median plane of the cylindrical or tubular wall which it extends, the bead thus shaped being distributed substantially equally inwards and outwards.

Advantageously, the tubular element is made of molded synthetic material.

Advantageously also, the length of the tubular support between the two transverse ends is between 0.5 and 2 cms.

And the thickness of the tubular structure in the area between the bulge on a first end and the flange on the second end is between 0.5 and 3 mm. The diameter of the tubular support is between 4 and 6 cm.

The collar consists of a crown of radial width between 3 and 10 mm.

According to an alternative embodiment, the support comprises means for detaching the condom or condom from its concentric rest position and outside the tubular element and this ejection member is constituted by a rod mounted by one of its ends on a leaf spring integral with the collar and passing through an opening in the latter so that a finger pressure on the leaf spring pushes the other end of the rod by pressing on the part of the condom or condom remaining wound on the tubular element forcing it to pass on the other side of the bulge.

According to Figures 1 and 2, the support comprises a tubular or annular element 1 whose diameter is slightly greater than that of the part of the body to be covered with a slight clearance; in the case of a support for the placement of a condom on the male member, the diameter is of the order of 4 to 6 cm.

This tubular or annular element 1 has at one end or first end a bulge or bead 2 and at the other end a flange 3.

In the variant of FIGS. 1 and 2, the device for ejecting the condom at the end of installation has been shown as a particular embodiment, without this ejection device being characteristic of the invention.

On the outer surface of the collar is fixed a leaf spring 5 which supports an ejection rod 4 extending along the axis of the tubular element through an opening 6 of the collar in the direction of the end bead 2.

The condom is rolled up on the annular element; the part of its cylindrical wall which is rolled up on itself thus forms a torus which comes position behind the torus represented by the terminal bulge 2 -from the first end.

The bottom of the condom blocks the passage formed by the transverse face corresponding to this said first end.

According to the simplified embodiment represented in FIGS. 3 and 4, the same members have been shown which here bear the same references, the representation of the ejector having been omitted in this variant which consists of an annular or tubular element mono- matter; which allows the support to be produced at a very low price in molded or injected synthetic material.

Advantageously and to avoid any pre-manipulation, the condom will be sold being mounted on a support, the condom assembly and its support being of the disposable type.

But according to a variant also covered by the invention, the user can in advance mount the naked condom on the support of the invention, the purchase of the pre-associated assembly appearing more advantageous.

During use, the partner taking the initiative for the implementation holds the support between two fingers and with one hand, the support being grasped by the collar 3, it has the first transverse face closed by the bottom of the condom facing the end of the glans and only has to unroll the annular support in a coaxial position and in a direction collinear with the erect member; at the end of the journey, a slight pressure of a single finger on the toric edge represented by the end of the wall of the condom still wound and placed on the support allows its release; the media then released can be removed immediately. In the case of the condom of FIG. 1 and of FIG. 2, the user presses on the leaf spring 5, thus pushing the end of the condom constituted by the final bead, which passes over the bulge 2, thereby releasing the support. It will be noted that in such a condition, the support and its condom can be manipulated by possibly the female partner, the instantaneous and particularly discreet fast operation can be carried out quite naturally by this female partner who wishes to take precautions that her male partner, possibly occasional, would not have had the delicacy to plan; this support and the flash operation that it authorizes thus avoids any confusing discussion, even disturbing for the two partners on the advisability of the installation of the condom.

So that the support according to the invention and especially the condom assembly and associated support will be advantageously sought by female partners wishing to vary their relationship while ensuring security conditions in terms of preservation of health, without however, introduce an element of disturbance when putting on the condom if the carefree male partner has not planned anything in this regard.

The invention has been described above in connection with its preferential application which is that of the fitting of a condom during sexual intercourse. It should be noted that the invention is not limited to this application and could be exploited during the installation of coating in the general form of blind cylinder on an elongated member; this would be the case, for example, with varicose stockings which are sometimes difficult to put on because of their structure with limited elasticity so as to exert pressure on the surface vessels; their installation can advantageously be carried out using a device according to the invention and provided with dimensions accordingly; the torus constituted by the cylindrical wall of the coiled varicose stockings being positioned on the annular support and being able to be secured either by simple natural elasticity of the wall, or not an added concentric elastic element, or by an external cord.

The gripping flange 3 can be replaced by any digital support member allowing the support to be gripped between two fingers and comprising for this purpose at least two diametrically opposite support zones for receiving the support of two fingers with the same hand .

The advantage of the circular flange being to offer at any point of the periphery of the support these two diametrically opposite support zones whatever the position of the support which can therefore be grasped and manipulated without preferential orientation.

But the gripping member could simply consist of the rear part of the tubular support extended sufficiently to allow the support of the two fingers without interfering with the unwinding of the wall of the condom.

Claims

1 - Support for the establishment of an elastic protective coating and in the general form of a blind cylinder, such as a condom, on a member of the human body, in particular on the male member and the support consists of an element rigid tubular (1) intended to receive said coating and it is characterized in that it comprises: - On a first transverse end of this tubular element, a peripheral bulge (2) intended to receive the condom, in the state of its wall wound on itself, and then conforming to a circular bottom occupying the transverse face of this first end of the tubular element and whose edges formed by the cylindrical wall wound on itself conforms to a torus resting elastically on the external face of the tubular element behind said bulge; - And on a second end opposite to the first, the support comprises a gripping member (3) making it possible to hold said support with one hand in order to engage it by said first transverse end on the receiving member with said coating, in causing the unwinding of the wall of the coating, in particular of the condom coming to be applied as the support advances and the unwinding of the wall of the condom on said receiving member until the end of the unwinding, then allowing the release of the wall of the condom relative to its support and the withdrawal of said support by a reverse movement from the previous one. 2 - Support according to claim 1, characterized in that said manual gripping member consists of double -circular collar allowing gripping in any position of the fingers relative to said collar. 3 - Support according to claims 1 or 2, and characterized in that the end bead (2) of said first end extends respectively and also towards the outer wall and towards the inner bore of the tubular element. 4 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 3 and characterized in that the bead conforms to a wall of rounded section extending the outer wall of the tubular element to join the inner bore of this element. 5 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 4 and characterized in that said bead forms a torus of diameter equal to substantially 1.5 to 2 times the thickness of the tubular wall of the support and the toric section is arranged symmetrically by relative to the median plane of the cylindrical or tubular wall which it extends, the bead thus shaped being distributed substantially equally inwards and outwards. 6 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 5 and characterized in that the tubular element is made of molded synthetic material. 7 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 6 and characterized in that the length of the tubular support between the two transverse ends is between 0.5 and 2 cms. 8 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 7 and characterized in that the thickness of the tubular structure in the area between the bulge on a first end and the flange on the second end is between 0.5 and 3 rn s, the diameter of the tubular support is between 4 and 6 cms and the collar is constituted by a crown of radial width between 3 and 10 mms. 9 - Support according to one of claims 1 to 8 and characterized in that it comprises means for separating the condom or condom from its concentric rest position and outside the tubular element and this ejection member consists of a rod mounted by one of its ends on a leaf spring secured to the flange and passing through an opening in the latter so that a finger pressure on the leaf spring pushes the other end of the rod by pressing on the part of the condom or condom remaining wound on the tubular element by forcing it to pass on the other side of the bulge. 10 - set of the disposable type consisting of a condom or male latex condom of known type and mounted on a support according to one of claims 1 to 9, the condom being in the rolled up state of its wall and that -this forming a torus is elastically retained outside the tubular support, the blind bottom of the condom closing off the transverse face of said support on which it is applied.
