Die Schlitzdüse 1 , die insbesondere in einem Doppelsiebformer 2 einer Papier- oder Kartonmaschine ihre Anwendung findet, ist vornehmlich zum Abführen des Siebwassers von dem Obersieb 3 des Doppelsiebformers vorgesehen.
