Aus der US-A-4 739 564 ist ein Radsportschuh bekannt, der auf der Unterseite der Sohle ein Fixierelement aufweist, mit welchem der Radsportschuh mit dem Pedal verbunden wird um dem Fuss des Fahrers einen festen Halt zu geben. Ein ähnlicher Schuh ist aus der DE-A-2 240 102 bekannt. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass diese Fixierung des Radsportschuhs am Pedal nur dann optimal ist, wenn auch der Fuss im Radsportschuh einen ent¬ sprechend festen Halt findet. Das Schrumpfformteil kann mit einem üblichen Haartrockner geschrumpft werden. Die Schrumpfung er¬ folgt bei am Fuss angelegtem Schuh, so dass sich das Schrumpf¬ formteil genau an die Form des Fusses anpasst. Auch bei von der Norm stark abweichenden Fussformen wird eine genaue An¬ passung des Schuhoberteils im Bereich des Fussristes erreicht. Der geschrumpfte Schrumpfformteil behält auch unter starker Be¬ lastung seine Form dauerhaft bei. Als Radsportschuh ist ge- währleitst, dass die Tretbewegung des Fusses optimal auf das Pedal übertragen werden.
