Abstract

L'appareil décrit, qui sert à traiter par égouttage et par pressage des matériaux en forme de boues, de suspensions, de tourbe, etc, comprend comme partie de traitement de fin une section de presse à vis (12-14; 28-30) comportant une vis de presse (12, 13; 29, 30) et un manteau de tamisage (14; 28) entourant la vis de presse. Une section de décharge (7-10) placée adjacente à un dispositif d'égouttage, tel qu'un filtre à tambour, un filtre à disque, un tamis en arc, etc, est disposée à l'avant de la section de presse à vis. Cette section de décharge comprend une vis de décharge (8-10) et une auge (7) entourant cette vis. La vis de presse (12, 13; 29, 30) et le manteau de tamisage (14; 28) de la section de presse à vis forment un prolongement de la vis de décharge (8-10) et de l'auge (7), respectivement et sont disposés sur la même ligne centrale. Le dispositif d'égouttage (5, 6) est muni d'une entrée (1-3) pour le matériau à traiter et d'un organe de sortie, constitué par exemple par un racloir (21), qui sert à acheminer le matériau du dispositif d'égouttage (5, 6) vers la section de décharge (7-10).
