Description

Verbundteil aus weichelastischem Schaumstoff und gummi- elastischem Kautschuk-Material
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verbundteil nach den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Anspruches 1.
Es ist bekannt, weichelastischen, offenzelligen Schaumstof mit einem gummiartigen Kautschuk-Material zu verkleben, ve schweißen oder über eine Clipsverbindung miteinander zu ve binden. Diese Verfahren sind jedoch fertigungstechnisch re tiv aufwendig und auch in der Anwendung nicht immer zufrie - denstellend.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, ein Verbundteil aus weichelastischem Schaumstoff und gummielastischem Kautschu Material anzugeben, welches herstellungs äßig einfach ist und in der Anwendung vorteilhaft.
Diese Aufgabe ist bei einem Verbundteil mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Kautschuk-Material mit gummiartigen Eigenschaften wird ge¬ wöhnlich vulkanisiert, bei etwa 160°C bis 180°C, über eine Zeitspanne von zwei bis drei Minuten. Dagegen wird ein Schaumstofformteil im sogenannten Heißprägeverfahren herge¬ stellt, bei einer Temperatur von etwa 230°C und über eine Zeitspanne von etwa eineinhalb Minuten. Man ist daher bis¬ lang davon ausgegangen, daß es nicht möglich ist, das Heiß- prägen des Schaumstoffes gleichzeitig mit einem Vulkanisie¬ ren des" Kautschuk-Materials durchzuführen. Überraschend hat sich jedoch gezeigt, daß das Kautschuk-Material auch bei einer kurzzeitigen Einwirkung höherer Temperaturen zufriede stellend ausvulkanisiert und, wenn gleichzeitig eine Verpre sung mit Schaumstoff erfolgt, eine vorteilhafte Verbindung zwischen dem Schaumstoff und dem Kautschuk-Material sich einstellt, bei gleichzeitiger Verdichtung des Schaumstoffes im Verbindungsbereich.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, ein Kautschuk-Material bei einem erfindungsgemäßen Verbundteil zu verarbeiten, das hoc temperaturfest ist. Beispielsweise bieten sich hier sogenan te CR- oder NBR-Kautschukarten an. Darüber hinaus ist auch etwa Silikon-Kautschuk mit Vorteil einsetzbar.
Der Schaumstoff ist bevorzugt einseitig zumindest verdichte oder verhautet.
Verbundteile der in Rede stehenden Art können beispielsweis in der KFZ-Technik Anwendung finden, wobei der hier aus Kautschuk-Material bestehende Bereich Dichtungsfunktionen übernehmen kann, etwa im Bereich einer Lampenfassung oder einer Ölablaßöffnung, während das Schaumstoffteil im wesent liehen Dämmfunktionen übernimmt. Dadurch, daß das Schaum¬ stoffteil bevorzugt verdichtet oder sogar verhautet ist, er gibt sich aber darüber hinaus auch hinsichtlich des Schaum¬ stoffteiles eine vorteilhafte Dichtigkeit, welche zumindest im wesentlichen wasserabweisend ist.
Überraschend hat sich auch gezeigt, daß selbst bei verhaute te Schaumstoff das erfindungsgemäße Verbundteil auf Grund der Verpressung unter Heißprägebedingungen noch eine ausrei chende Haftung zwischen dem Schaumstoff und dem Kautschuk- Material aufweist. Hinsichtlich des Kautschuk-Materials kann in weiterer vor¬ teilhafter Ausgestaltung auch vorgesehen sein, daß dieses zellartige Struktur aufweist. Beispielsweise wird dies er¬ reicht, indem dem Kautschuk-Material ein Treibmittel zuge- setzt wird. Bei geringem Gewicht des Verbundteiles ergibt sich eine gleichwohl im Bereich des Kautschuk-Materials he vorragende Dichtigkeit.
Hinsichtlich der konstruktiven Gestaltung des Verbundteile ist es zunächst möglich, daß das Kautschuk-Material und de Schaumstoff stumpf oder zumindest sσhrägflächig aneinander stoßen. In bevorzugter Ausgestaltung ist vorgesehen, daß d Schaumstoff das Kautschuk-Material zumindest teilweise übe lappt. Es hat sich auch herausgestellt, daß im Hinblick au die genannten Anwendungsbereiche für das Verbundteil der
Schaumstoff das Kautschuk-Material einseitig vollständig u geben kann. Durch den Preßvorgang mit den weiter oben wied gegebenen Parametern ergibt sich sodann, daß der Schaumsto im Überlappungsbereich hoch verdichtet ist und eine Strukt aufweist, die annähernd dem des weichelastischen Kautschuk Materials entspricht.
Der Erfindung liegt auch die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahr zum Herstellen eines Verbundteiles aus weichelastischem Schaumstoff und einem gummielastischen Kautschuk-Material anzugeben, insbesondere eines Verbundteiles wie es zuvor b schrieben worden ist. Diese Aufgabe ist durch ein Verfahre mit den Merkmalen des Anspruches 9 gelöst.
Wesentlich ist, daß der Schaumstoff und das gummielastisch
Teil aus Kautschuk-Material in eine vorgewärmte Form einge ben werden und gemeinsam bei Heißprägebedingungen des Scha stoffes verpreßt werden. Der Schaumstoff und das gummielas sche Teil selbst können hierbei bei Raumtemperatur in die Form eingegeben werden. Von Bedeutung ist, daß in die Form bereits vorkonturierte Rohstücke eingegeben werden, welche also bereits im wesentl chen der endgültigen Gestalt des Verbundteiles entsprechen. Dies bedeutet, daß die im Hinblick auf die endgültige Ge- stalt des Verbundteiles zu leistende Arbeit in der Form re lativ gering istr die Form daher mit vergleichsweise gerin gen Drücken betrieben werden kann. Das erfindungsgemäße Ve fahren ist auch mit dem besonderen Vorteil verbunden, daß die fertigen Formteile im heißen Zustand wieder aus Form entnommen werden können.
Im einzelnen wird die Verpressung über eine Zeitspanne von ein bis zwei Minuten, vorzugsweise eineinhalb Minuten, und bei einer Temperatur von 200"c bis 250°C, vorzugsweise 230° durchgeführt. Die Form wird hierbei mit einem Druck von 2 bis 5 bar, vorzugsweise 3 bar beaufschlagt.
Nachstehend wird die Erfindung nach an Hand von auf der be gefügten Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel näher erläutert, wobei zeigt:
Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch eine erste Ausführungsfo eines erfindungsgemäßen Verbundteiles; und
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch eine zweite Ausführungs¬ form eines erfindungsgemäßen Verbundteiles.
Dargestellt und beschrieben sind Verbundteile 1, die aus B reichen 2 und 3 bestehen. Der Bereich 2 ist ein vulkanisie tes Kautschuk-Material, während der Bereich 3 aus weichela stischem, offenzelligem Schaumstoff besteht.
Die Bereiche 2 und 3 werden als unvulkanisiertes Kautschuk Material bzw. als Schaumstoff-Halbzeugplatte in eine vorge wärmte, heiße Form gelegt und miteinander verpreßt, bei
Heißprägebedingungen etwa von PÜR-Schaum, das heißt bei et 230°C und bei einer Einwirkzeit von etwa eineinhalb Minute Bei Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 wird der als Dichtlip dienende Bereich 2 teilweise von dem Bereich 3, das heißt von dem weichelastischen Schaumstoff überlappt, in dem Übe lappungsbereich 4. In dem Überlappungsbereich 4 ist der weichelastische, offenzellige Schaumstoff so stark verdich tet, daß er praktisch vollkommen zusammengefallen ist. Dur die Verprägung im übrigen ergibt sich die in Fig. 1 wieder gebene, strukturierte Form des Verbundteiles insgesamt, mi Rillenausprägungen im Dichtlippenbereich des Kautschuk-Mat rials und einem Bereich 5 größeren Durchmessers von im we¬ sentlichen unverdichteten Schaumstoff, zur Erzielung.guter Dämmeigenschaften.
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 2 überlappt der Be- reich 3 in dem Überlappungsbereich 4 den Bereich 2 auf pra tisch vollkommener Länge. Je nach Gestaltung der Form könn hierdurch, etwa im Bereich der Dichtlippe und dem der Dich tungsfläche (nicht dargestellt) abgewandten Bereich vortei haft weniger verdichtete Schaumstoffbereiche ausgebildet werden, die etwa ein elastisches, jedoch sicheres Anliegen der Dichtfläche gewährleisten. Im übrigen ist auch bei, dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 2 eine Strukturierung des Formteiles 1 gegeben, wobei in dem Bereich 5 ein weitgehen unverdichteter Schaumstoff vorliegt.
Im übrigen ist das Verbundteil 1 bei beiden Ausführungsbei spielen, im Bereich des Schaumstoffes 3, mit einer'Verhau- tung 6 versehen.
Die in der vorstehenden Beschreibung, den Zeichnungen und den Ansprüchen offenbarten Merkmale der Erfindung können sowohl einzeln als auch in beliebiger Kombination für die Verwirklichung der Erfindung von Bedeutung sein.

Claims

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Verbundteil aus weichelastischem Schaumstoff und gummiel stischem Kautschuk-Material, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß de Schaumstoff (3) mit unvulkanisiertem Kautschuk-Material (2) unter Schaumstoff-Heißprägebedingungen verpreßt ist, wobei der Schaumstoff im Verbindungsbereich verdichtet ist.
2. Verbundteil nach Anspruch l r dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kautschuk-Material (2) hoch temperaturbeständig ist.
3. Verbundteil nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff (3) vorverdichtet ist.
4. Verbundteil nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff (3) verhautet ist.
5. Verbundteil nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kautschuk-Material (2) zellartige Struktur aufweist.
6. Verbundteil nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff (3) das Kautschuk-Mate¬ rial (2) zumindest teilweise überlappt.
7. Verbundteil nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff (3) das Kautschuk-Mate¬ rial (2) einseitig vollständig umgibt.
8. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Verbundteiles aus weiche stischem Schaumstoff und einem gummielastischen Teil auf Kautschuk-Material-Basis, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff und das gummielastische Teil in eine vorgewärm Form eingegeben werden und gemeinsam bei Heißprägebedingun gen des Schaumstoffs verpreßt werden.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verpressung über eine Zeitspanne von ein bis zwei Minu ten, vorzugsweise 1,5 Minuten, bei einer Temperatur von 200°C bis 250°C, vorzugsweise 230°C erfolgt, und bei einem Druck von 2 bis 5 bar, vorzugsweise 3 bar, erfolgt.
