Abstract

L'extrudeuse conçue essentiellement pour l'extrusion de produits alimentaires, comporte une vis sans fin (18) à rotation rapide, qui est supportée dans son logement dans le sens axial par l'intermédiaire d'un support axial constitué de pistons (34) disposés dans une plaque de logement (26) et d'une plaque (22) adjacente à la vis. Les pistons (34) sont déplaçables en sens axial, lorsqu'un liquide sous pression est acheminé derrière ces derniers via une canalisation (54). Un fluide est amené via une canalisation (58) pour former un film de fluide (56) entre la face avant du piston (34) et la face arrière de la plaque (22). Les pistons sont pourvus pour cela de rainures annulaires (40) qui sont en communication avec la face avant des pistons par l'intermédiaire de canaux. Le fluide en excès peut être évacué par une canalisation (60). Plusieurs pistons de ce type sont disposés horizontalement sur un cercle, de sorte que même en cas de faibles modifications de forme, la plaque (22) présente sur sa face arrière une surface d'appui constante.
