Abstract

Un procédé de production de vanilline comprend l'extraction d'un mélange fluide contenant de la vanilline et de l'eau avec du dioxyde de carbone à une température comprise entre 0o et 110oC et sous une pression comprise entre 30 et 400 bars, suivie par la séparation de la vanilline. Selon ce procédé, on fait passer le dioxyde de carbone contenant de la vanilline à la température et sous la pression d'extraction à travers une solution aqueuse de sulfite ou de sulfite d'hydrogène, on acidifie ensuite cette solution avec de l'acide sulfurique jusqu'à un pH entre 2 et 4, le dioxyde de carbone dépourvu de vanilline étant ramené à l'étape d'extraction.
