Abstract

The faucet assembly is characterized for being a three duty function in one single piece or assembly (1), used for the washing and hygienization of the hands with high effectiveness, being provided with a panel (2), three foot levers (3) separately operative, being the first to spray the soap, the central one to spray water and the third one for the antiseptic liquid, all of them through one single faucet (7) that is provided with three distinct outlets, being that the assembly is driven by a conjugated hydraulic and electrical system, resulting in an apparatus extremely effective for the hygiene of the hands.

The present specification refer to an utility model patent for an "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO

5-AUTOMATIC THREE DUTY FAUCET", an assembly idealized under most updated technology, aiming to overcome the i ncovenience in the process of washing hands, where the hygiene is a must

The use of such assembly can be either in houses, schools or in hospitals, doctor's and de -tist's consul ting-room.

Usually the washing and hygieni tion of the hands is made in the conventional use faucet, whi applies rotating spindles. The incovenience of such faucets that when the hygiene is finished the person must touch the t -once again in order to seal the water, consequently being exp sured to contamination.

In view of the foregoing and in order to provide this process to be perfomed by a more conven ent way, the applicant idealized this present improvement whi -is characterized for being very practical and by having three function in one single piece. This new assembly has been de signed to be used in the most various places, and has one fa cet provided with three outlets in one single body. The whole assembly is disposed in a closet, to which the vat is coupled -and with used water outlet, being the faucet controled by mea of foot lever. The central outlet is for the water, the secon outlet is for the soap and the third one for an antisseptic l quid.

The functioning of the assembly -carried out by means of elements such as: transformer, soleno valves assembled with distribution electrical wires, which wi allow the washing to be made through a mere touch on the desi red foot corresponding lever. This process will allow the des red liquid outlet without any hands contact. - Advantages and characteristics this new process will be apparent from the claims enclosed.

In accordance to the figures ab the present model comprehends a closet (1) or a rectangular b dy, squared or any desired shape body in which are frontal ly disposed a panel 2 provided with three foot levers 3 which wi drive the faucet 7. The faucet 7 is provided with an outlet -for the soap, a central outlet 5 which ejects hot or cold wa and finally the outlet 6 which ejects an antisseptic or any other desired liquid, being those three outlets an integral p of the faucet. The apparatus can also be operated without el trical power by means of driving the derivation 8. - In the internal part (figure 2) have in the side lateral walls of the closet or body 1, a pl tic container 9 for the soap another container 10 for the an septic, being both conected to the faucet 7 by means of the plastic pipes 11 which separately depart from each of the co -tainer providing the transport separated of each liquid. The said plastic container are provided with the pumps 12 and 13 respectivelly being one for each container, which are interc nected to the current transformer 13a by means of the plugs and 15 fixed to the wires 16 and 17. This way voltage is con -ted from 110 or 220V to 12 or 24 V DC.

The transformer can be located either inside or outside the closet. The water flow through faucet 7 is made by means of a thermostat 18, that regulate the entrance of hot or cold water to the system, with the po -rior mixture of both. The entrance is made by means of a sol noid valve 19 for the liquid outlet through the central nozz 5 in a more convenient temperature.

The entrance electrical power 110/220 V is converted by the voltage transformer 13a into a -or 24 V. The transformer is conected by means of a plug to t power take-off. From the transformer a pair of wires 36 is connected to the foot lever panel 2 for the electrical distr tion 35. The system provides a derivatio constituted by hidraulic elements as the "T" shape elements 2 28 and 31, connections, flexibles 27,29, 30, 32 and 33, and mi with the valves 24 and 25 for the cold and hot water entrance -The derivator is provided for the convencional utilization of faucet, in case of isfunction of the assembly. The junctions coupling are made through the nipple 34.

When the first foot lever 3 of panel 2 is put in operation, the soap will be sucked by the p -12 through the plasti c pipe 11 reaching the outlet 4 of the f cet 7; when the second or central foot lever is driven the wa will penetrate the thermostat 19, passing through the solenoi valve 20 and will arrive to the central outlet 5 of the fauce and the third foot lever will drive the pump 13 of the antiss -tic in the same way, passing through the plastic pipe 11 until the outlet 6 of the said faucet.

1) "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO AUTOMATIC THREE DUTY FAUCET", characterized by being an asse bly designed for the main objective to overcome the incovenie -ces in the process of washing hands where hygiene is a mast, i inly in doctor's and dentist's consulting room, hospital 's even in domestic use.

2) "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO AUTOMATIC THREE DUTY FAUCET", according to claim 1, character -zed by the referred assembly comprinsing a closet (1) provide with a panel (2) with three foot lever (3) being the first operate to spray the soap, the central one to spray water an the third one for the antisseptic liquid, all of them flowing out through a faucet 7 provided with three nozzles being t -first to release soap (4); the second to release water (5) an the third nozzle to release antisseptic.

3) "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO AUTOMATIC THREE DUTY FAUCET", according to the claims 1 and characterized by referred assembly being provided with an hyd -lic and electrical system which work together; being the elec cal system connected through a plug to the electric current, ving a voltage transformer (13a) for 12 or 24 V, having inter linked the plugs (14 and 15) to the pumps (12 and 13) of the container (9 and 10) by the wires (16 and 17), being the wir - (16) connected to the micro switch (23) forming an harmonious assembly with high effect veness.

4) "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO AUTOMATIC THREE DUTY FAUCET", according claim 3, characterize by the hydraulic system be provided with plastic tubes (11) -which conduct the soap and antisseptic from the container to the faucet (7), other flexible tube conduct the water through the solenoid valve (20), thermostat (19) and mixer resulting a convenient water temperature. The connections and couplings are made by "T" shaped elements, connections, nipples and val -besides being provided with a derivator system (8), for being used in case of misfunction of the electrical system.
