The holders shown in FIGS. 1 to 8 are intended for fastening structural insulation panels 1 to walls and ceilings 2. The insulation plates 1 are preferably made of glass wool or rock wool. Walls and ceilings 2 can be built from concrete, masonry or wood. Spring wire is provided as the material for the holders.
In a simple embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the holder has an open wing loop 3 with one wire end and a hook leg 4 bent by approximately 80 degrees to the plane of the wing loop 3 with the other wire end. The hook leg 4 is provided with a barb 5 at its free end. The longitudinal center line of the wing loop 3 and the axis of the hook leg 4 lie in a normal plane normal to the loop plane. Between the hook leg 4 and the wing loop 3 there is a circular turn 6 which lies in the loop plane. The barb 5 is used for hanging in a bore 7 of approximately 8 mm in diameter and approximately 15 mm in depth, while the loop 3 and the circular winding 6 are provided as a stop for the insulation plate 1. The circular turn 6 also serves as a holding and pressure point for pushing the barb 5 into the bore 7 of the wall or the ceiling 2.
In the simple holder according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the hook leg 8 contains the two wire ends, which are firmly connected to one another by a twist 9. The free end of the hook leg 8 is provided with a double hook 10. On the side of the twist 9 protruding from this double hook 10, the two wires are bent at right angles to the central plane to the width of the loop 11 (FIG. 3), a cross member 12 being formed. This serves as a stop and pressure point for pushing the double hook 10 into the bore 7. Approx. 1 cm after the traverse 12, the loop 11 is bent by almost 90 degrees to the hook leg 8.
"Pi In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, two identical, simple holders according to FIGS. 1 and 2 are put together in such a way that the open loops 3 are diametrically opposite one another. The two hook legs 4 (see FIGS. 1 and 2) are firmly connected to one another by a twist 13 and are formed into a double hook 10 at the free end.
An embodiment with four closed loops 14 arranged like a cross is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. The loops 14 have a twist 16 near the center of the cross 15, while the two wire ends form the hook leg 17 with the double hook 10 and are firmly twisted together.
As indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIGS. 1 to 4, all of the outer ends of the loops 3, 11, 14 can be shaped into a gripper prong 18 directed obliquely to the loop plane or into a gripper claw.
In order to prevent the holder from pivoting against the wall 2 before attaching the insulation plates 1, a support wire can be attached to the hook leg 4, which comes to rest against the wall 2 as a stop.
In the case of resistant insulation material, a simple, straight or corrugated wire can be provided as the holding leg 3, 11, 14, which wire penetrates the insulation material more easily.
Only one size is provided for different thicknesses of the insulation plates 1 in order to simplify the manufacture of the holder. In the case of thicker plates 1, the holding legs 3, 11, 14 can be inserted into the narrow side of the plates 1 parallel to the wall plane, so that the plates 1 abut one another and prevent cold air gaps.
The advantages of the holder described lie in the easier, faster assembly of the insulation plates 1, no dowels, hammers and screwdrivers being required, and in the extensive avoidance of undesirable damage to power, water and gas lines.
