- Side panels 100 and 102 are disposed on opposite sides of stationary trough 34 and, when the housing is pivoted forward onto the stationary trough, they are positioned on opposite sides thereof, as best shown in Figure 6.
- Housing 82 also has walls 104 in the rear and 106 on the opposite side, and they may also be provided with suitable windshields. It is also within the scope of the present invention to include removable windshields for removal during transport of machine 30 and for ease in replacement if broken.
- Frame roller mechanism 68 is best shown in Figure 7. Referring thereto, it is seen that mechanism 68 is attached to horizontal frame members 110, 110 and vertical frame members 112, 112.
- Lift roller 114 is positioned between the forward portions of frame members 110, 110 and includes roller pins 116, 116 secured to the outside at the end portions thereof. Pins 116 are rotatably mounted in the forward portion of frame members 110. Roller sleeves 118 and 120, while held in place along the longitudinal axis of lift roller 114, are free to rotate about that axis.
- Lift bar 122 having holes 124 and 126 at its outer edge is welded to roller 114.

- a hook 140 can be inserted into hole 126 and pulled by a chain 142, as shown in Figures 8 and 9.

- a pair of parallel spaced members 144 and 146 are mounte to bar 128 and project therefrom.
- a locking pin 148 can be inserted into the aligned holes 150 of members 144 and 146 as well as hole 124 of bar 122 securing the locking mechanism in the lifted position as illustrated in Figure 9 and Figure 10.
- machine 30 When in the lifted position, machine 30 can be pushed or pulled along catwalk C, or along the flatbed of a truck, as it rolls freely on rollers 118 and 120.

- Run off arm assemblies 64 are positioned on either side of the stationary trough.
- Each assembly generally comprises a pair of parallel arms 180 having upper ends 182 and lower ends 184.
- Arms 180 are attached to the frame at locations between the racking arms, but it is also within the scope of the present invention to attach them outside of the racking arms but they must be close enough to hold lengths of pipe between them. As best illustrated in Figure 14, arms 180 are pivotally attached by locking pin 186 placed in hole 188 of frame 32 and through a hole in upper end 182. Abstract
Une machine pour transférer un tuyau du plancher d'une installation de forage (D) à un parc à tuyaux (R) comporte une rigole stationnaire (34) située en-dessous du plancher de l'installation de forage et une rigole mobile (40) alignée avec la rigole stationnaire, dont une extrémité repose sur le plancher de l'installation de forage et dont l'autre extrémité est mobile verticalement par rapport à l'extrémité de la rigole stationnaire la plus proche de l'installation de forage. Une cabine d'opérateur (70) est fixée de manière à être soutenue par l'extrémité de la rigole stationnaire qui est opposée au plancher de l'installation de forage. La cabine possède une coque (82) fixée de manière pivotante à son rebord antérieur sur la rigole stationnaire, grâce à quoi la coque peut pivoter de 90o sur la rigole stationnaire pour faciliter le transport de la machine. La cabine d'opérateur comporte en outre un tableau de commande (86) monté sur la rigole stationnaire, mais qui ne pivote pas avec la coque. Un dispositif de levage (68) fixé en-dessous de la rigole stationnaire peut soulever la rigole stationnaire et la dégager de sa surface de soutien jusqu'à ce qu'elle repose sur des roulettes (118, 120). On peut ensuite tirer ou pousser la machine le long de la passerelle (C) ou d'une table plate sur ces roulettes. Des bras de guidage (130, 132) fixés au dispositif de levage guident la rigole stationnaire le long de la passerelle. Des bras de chevalement (56) fixés sur les côtés de la rigole stationnaire déplacent le tuyau latéralement entre la rigole stationnaire et le parc à tuyaux. Un montage réglable d'évacuation de tuyaux (64) fixé à la rigole stationnaire près des bras de chevalement permet au tuyau d'être éloigné des bras de chevalement et d'être dirigé vers des emplacements différents sur le parc à tuyaux. La longueur des bras de chevalement est réglable et ceux-ci possèdent une plaque pivotante de soutien (212) à leur extrémité.
