Abstract
Dispositifs d'orifices d'event pour des enceintes de haut-parleurs bass-reflex et plus particulierement dispositifs permettant d'etendre la reproduction de sons jusqu'a des frequences plus basses tout en assurant l'attenuation et l'amortissement, et permettant la reduction des dimensions requises de l'enceinte pour obtenir une reproduction sonore de haute qualite. De nombreux efforts ont ete realises dans le but d'obtenir une enceinte de haut-parleur reproduisant efficacement des sons au niveau de la partie extreme de basse frequence du spectre sonore sans l'introduction de 'booms' et autres effets resonnants. Les dispositifs d'orifices d'event obtenus (22, 27, 30, 34, 38) sont montes dans des enceintes de haut-parleurs bass-reflex (10) derriere des ouvertures d'event (21, 21a-21d). Chaque dispositif possede une ouverture d'une embouchure exterieure au niveau de l'ouverture d'event du haut-parleur et une ouverture de gorge interieure (25, 39, 32, 37, 41) de surface plus petite, approximativement egale aux deux cinquiemes de la surface de l'ouverture de l'embouchure. Les formes des dispositifs comprennent des formes ayant des sections tubulaires cylindriques ou polygonales combinees a des sections de parois extremes planes interieures, une forme en escalier avec une section supplementaire tubulaire interieure, plus petite, et des formes avec des parois hemispheriques et coniques tronquees. Les rapports de surface gorge-embouchure et les rapports des volumes des dispositifs et des enceintes sont tels qu'ils permettent d'etendre et d'augmenter la reponse basse frequence sans produire d'effets de 'booms'.
