Abstract

Un método para la oxidación catalítica de la celulosa que usa un radical nitroxilo heterocíclico como catalizador, un oxidante principal que actúa como fuente de oxígeno y un activador del radical nitroxilo heterocíclico, método que comprende: - un paso preliminar de activación del radical nitroxilo heterocíclico con hipoclorito para obtener un catalizador activado y, después del paso preliminar de activación, - un paso de oxidación de la celulosa usando el catalizador activado e hipoclorito como oxidante principal para oxidar la celulosa.
