Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a ciertos compuestos novedosos de formula (I), a procedimientos para la preparacion de dichos compuestos, a su utilidad en la modulacion de los receptores hormonales nucleares del Receptor Hepático X (LXR) a (alfa) (NR1H3) y/o B (Beta) (NR1H2) y en el tratamiento y/o prevencion de condiciones clínicas inclusive enfermedades cardiovasculares tales como la aterosclerosis, las enfermedades inflamatorias, el mal de Alzheimer, los trastornos lipídicos (dislipidemia) vinculados o no a la resistencia a la insulina, la diabetes tipo 2 y otras manifestaciones del síndorme metabolico, a métodos para su utilizacion terapéutica y a composiciones farmacéuticas que los contienen.The present invention relates to certain novel compounds of formula (I), to methods for the preparation of said compounds, to their usefulness in the modulation of the nuclear hormonal receptors of the Hepatic Receptor X (LXR) to (alpha) (NR1H3) and / or B (Beta) (NR1H2) and in the treatment and / or prevention of clinical conditions including cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, inflammatory diseases, Alzheimer's disease, lipid disorders (dyslipidemia) linked or not to resistance to insulin, type 2 diabetes and other manifestations of the metabolic syndrome, to methods for therapeutic use and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
