Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación del compuesto ácido (all-E)-3,7-dimetil-9-[3,5-dimetil-2-(noniloxi)-fenil]-2,4,6,8-nonatetranoico con fórmula (I) representada en la figura 1, y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables y ésteres hidrolizables farmacéuticamente aceptables, que comprende hacer reaccionar un compuesto de fórmula (II) representada en la figura 2, donde Ph es fenilo y X- es un anión, bajo las condiciones de una reacción Witting con un compuesto de fórmula (III) representada en la figura 3; y si se desea, hidrolizar el grupo éster alquílico para obtener el ácido carboxílico de fórmula (I). Se incluye también un procedimiento conforme a lo descrito para la preparación de una composición farmacéutica que contiene un compuesto de fórmula (I), donde dicha composición es un comprimido o cápsula, o una formulación para aplicaciones tópicas. Estas composiciones son de utilidad para reducir la secreción de sebo (como seborrea, caspa, piel o cabello graso, cabello cano), como también para prevenir el acné.Process for the preparation of the (all-E) -3,7-dimethyl-9- [3,5-dimethyl-2- (nonyloxy) -phenyl] -2,4,6,8-nonatetranoic acid compound with formula (I ) represented in Figure 1, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and pharmaceutically acceptable hydrolyzable esters, which comprises reacting a compound of formula (II) represented in Figure 2, where Ph is phenyl and X- is an anion, under the conditions of a Witting reaction with a compound of formula (III) represented in figure 3; and if desired, hydrolyzing the alkyl ester group to obtain the carboxylic acid of formula (I). Also included is a process as described for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition containing a compound of formula (I), wherein said composition is a tablet or capsule, or a formulation for topical applications. These compositions are useful for reducing the secretion of sebum (such as seborrhea, dandruff, oily skin or hair, gray hair), as well as for preventing acne.
