Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso y aparato para la purificación del agua residual en varias etapas sucesivas en las que el agua residual es ventilada en una primera región y luego sometida a un aclarado intermedio en una segunda región y que incluye una ventilación posterior al aclarado en una tercera región y una sedimentación posterior al aclarado en una cuarta región. Con el fin de ofrecer una disposición de tratamiento del agua residual que sea simple, ahorre espacio, implique bajos costos y sea confiable, el aparato está dispuesto de forma que incluya las cuatro regiones en un único estanque por medio de paredes de separación dentro del mismo. Estas regiones pueden ser antecedidas por otras regiones de etapas de procesamiento y seguidas por regiones de filtrado o almacenamiento. Con el fin de permitir el ajuste a diveras cargas y de cambiar las relaciones entre las cargas hidráulicas y bioquímicas, las paredes de separación entre las regiones están dispuestas de forma que sean móviles para permitir cambios en los volúmenes relativos de las regiones.
