PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A RANGE William H. Frick, Cleveland, Ohio, assignor to American Stove Company, St. Louis, Mo., a corporation of New Jersey To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, William H. Frick, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cleveland, county of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Range, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing forming part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing:
Figure l is a View in front elevation of the range showing my new design.
Figure 2 is an end view thereof.
The range making up my new design, embodies an oven having thereabove a cooking top portion. Closed housings are positioned at either side of the oven and a burner chamber containing the burners for the cooking top portion of the range is superposed upon the oven and closed by a front plate. The range presents a substantially flush front. The base of the range at the front is recessed. A splashback extends throughout the width of the rear edge of the cooking top. A housing shelf or storage compartment is positioned on the splashback in elevated and separated relation to the cooking top of the range.
The features shown in broken lines are not an important part of the invention.
