SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,556, dated November 13, 1900.
Application filed October 15, 1900. Serial No. 33,169. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, THOMAS WHEATLEY, of Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga, in the Slate of New York, have invented and produced a new andorignal Design forDeflectors for Valves, of which the following, taken in con neetion with the accom panying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact description.
Figure l is an isometric view of my new design of deflector. Fig. II is a top plan. Fig. III is a side elevation.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material featn res of my design are a circular flat top 1, with a central perforation 2, an annular base 3, arranged parallel to the top and of larger diameter, and short outwardly-inclined bars 4 4, connecting the base to the top and leaving between them elongated openings 5 5.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure oyLetters Patent, is'- The design for a deflector, as herein shown and described.
