Beit known that we, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of Troy, 1d TOBIAS S.HEISTER, of Lansingburg, in the county l'Rensselaer, and State of New York, have jointly inented or produced a new and original Design for Plates fa Box-Stove, called the Orystal, of which the folwing is a full and exact description, reference being ad to the accompanying photographs, in which- Figures 1 and 2 are perspective views of a box-stove aving our said design.

Like parts are marked by the same letters in both .gures.

Our new design for the side-plates A consistsof the ompound ornament b o d on the panel e, surrounded y the ornamental moulding f, with vine-like ornaments i outside, at the corners, and al1 shaped and arranged .o as to appear as represented in iig. 1; and

The design for the ends or plates H consists of the central ornament vl j k, on a swelling surface l, with arched ornamentations m 'a o at top and bottom, all shaped and disposed so as to present the appearance represented in the aforesaid photographs.

What We claim as our invention or production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for plates of a box-stove, herein shown and described.
